We Are Havwoods Accessories

As the UK’s longest standing supplier of flooring accessories, we’ve built our service offering and product range on the needs of our customers and our knowledge of the flooring industry, stocking only the best products from the best manufacturers. 

 

Here at Havwoods Accessories, we aim to supply flooring professionals with all of the tools they need, from preparing the subfloor and installing the floor covering to sanding and refinishing and maintaining in the future, we’ve got it all. 

Our Journey... 

Rewind 45 years, Havwoods International was founded by Henry J Whiley in his family home in Preston. With his experience as a timber merchant, he began his business selling his own timber flooring to a handful of customers. 

 

In 1985, the business had grown rapidly and Vincent Whiley joined the business to form Henry And Vincent WOODS.

 

Fast forward to 2003 and Havwoods Accessories was born following a decision to split the company into specialised businesses - offering our customers a more tailored service. 

 

In 2011 Havwoods Accessories moved into it’s second home, our current premises in Preston with almost 20,000 sq ft of warehouse space to house our wide range of stock and expansive office space allowing us to improve customer service. It also gained its own identity with the creation of the Havwoods Accessories branding we know now. 

 

2020 has certainly been a year to go down in history but we’ve come out the other side stronger than ever and with the launch of our new website and exciting things planned, we’re very excited for the future!
